RUDE!

I’ve been in the service industry for over 20 years. The sad truth is that the general public are RUDE! I was at a table once and from behind me, all I could hear was a man yelling “HEY” over and over again. He was trying to get my attention by shouting at me like I was a dog instead of a human. I finally turned around to say that I’d be with him shortly. He wasn’t satisfied with that and kept yelling for me. My bus boy was able to get to him before I did. I found out what he wanted and went to the kitchen to request it. When I walked back out and didn’t immediately have his item (because kitchens require some time to make the food), he continued to yell “HEY!!!” I decided that he was no longer worthy of my attention. It was a very busy shift and I was the only server working with one bus boy. Even though we fulfilled his request in a timely manner, the next time I passed him up he yelled “NO TIP FOR YOU!” Thanks anyway sir, I didn’t really need your $2 tip!
